OpenAI (https://openai.com/) has introduced a new feature in ChatGPT. By typing ”@” in the chat input field, users can now utilize the GPT mention function.

'Beta' GPT Mentions
Type @ to add a GPT into your conversation
As shown in the image below, it is now possible to call other GPTs during a chat.

This functionality has also been confirmed by other users on the internet. There is no official release note from OpenAI yet, but it seems to be in a grey box testing phase. Users who cannot access this feature yet are advised to wait for the official release.
Being able to switch conversation partners mid-conversation offers a discussion-like experience. For example, while conversing with a GPT specialized in story generation, you can request an image-generating GPT to create visuals.
Last year, when Slack released the group chat functionality through Claude.ai, we already sensed the limitless possibilities of chat-based AI. Now, with OpenAI launching this new feature, we look forward to its expanded potential.
